This site is updated by ourselves as soon as possible after each qualifying competition at Fingle Glen. Do not however expect to find the results from pairs or team events. You should look for these on our own Fingle Glen site.

The English Golf Union was established in 1924 and is the governing body for male amateur golf in England.

The EGU arranges major amateur tournaments, looks after the interests of over 1,890 affiliated golf clubs and some 730,000 club members.





 
The Ladies' Golf Union was founded in 1893 and is the governing body for ladies' amateur golf throughout Great Britain and Ireland.

The LGU consists of the National Organisations (English Ladies' Golf Association, Irish Ladies' Golf Union, Scottish Ladies' Golfing Association and the Welsh Ladies' Golf Union), ladies' golf clubs and ladies' sections of recognised golf clubs and every annual playing member of those clubs within Great Britain and Ireland.

There are currently around 2,750 clubs representing some 220,000 lady members.




 
The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews holds a unique position in the world game. Established in 1754 as a small private society it has evolved through two and a half centuries as a leading authority in the world game.

Today the club has four distinct areas of responsibility, the administration of the Rules of Golf, in conjunction with the United States Golf Association, the running of the Open Championship and other key events, the encouragement and development of the game in existing and emerging golfing nations, and the operation of a private club with almost 2400 members.
